CitedExperts brings transparency to expert sourcing – an independent verification layer journalists can trust.

Badge System

• No badge = Listed but not verified
• 🟢 Expert Verified = Expert proved ownership
• 🛡️ Mod Verified = We checked placements exist
• ⚠️ Under Review = Flagged, investigating
• ❌ Suspected Fake = Determined fake

Claiming Your Profile

1. Click “Claim This Profile”
2. Get a verification code
3. Email us from your work email with the code
4. Or LinkedIn message us with the code
5. We verify within 24-48 hours
